I am writing this letter to draw your immediate attention regarding an article published about my hometown ‘Mirissa’ in your esteemed magazine, in an effort to bring my town known globally to the travelers, which I really appreciate it. I regret to inform you that there is an erroneous fact that requires immediate correction.
Your article mentioned that the whale is observed in the famous Mirissa beach during early February while the correct information is that the whale watching takes place at the end of April. It is crucial to provide accurate information as many locals solely rely on the spending of the visitors. Furthermore, this incorrect information could lead prospective tourists to visit my town at the wrong time which will cause them disappointment.
Therefore, I humbly request you to correct the factual error and publish a correctional notice on your next edition in order to avoid confusion among future travelers.
