Well, for me I am usually a happy camper but there are few days when I feel blue and exhausted. One such day came into my life a year back when I was working in a public bank. I was already having morning blues and the rainy weather of that day added to my gloom.
When I reached my office, my best friend called me and asked me to take a day off. Since I was already in the office, I told her that I’ll take a half-day instead. So after half day my friend and I went to the countryside for a long drive. To lift up my mood, she played songs in the car and constantly cracked jokes.
In no time, I was laughing at her jokes and enjoying the long drive. Then we finally parked our car at the bank of a river. The river was in full swing due to rain. We stayed there for 2 hours and enjoyed the weather with tea and Indian snacks. Then we went into a local roadside restaurant where we ate our lunch and headed back toward home.
During the journey back home, we played pranks on all our friends and enjoyed the cool breeze. That day was the happiest day of my life. It is such a surprise that a bit of a shift in mood can make us so happy and joyful. The day which started from rock bottom for me ended on such a happy note.
