In the present millennium, there is an ongoing debate regarding whether animal experimentations should be accepted or unaccepted. I strongly believe such experiments should be allowed as this primarily enables scientists in developing medical science.

To begin with, it is very clear that many medicines for viruses, infections, and other illnesses would have not been found if it was not tested on animals. In other words, new diseases are emerging every year and to overcome such trauma, researchers are continuously trying hard to invent vaccines and treatments which may have tremendous side effects. Since animals are the closest species having the same body structure as humans that’s why they are procured for such experiments to check the safety of such drugs. Moreover, non-animal testing is not yet a scientifically valid and available option. For example, 60% of all dog experiments and 81% of all monkey experiments in Britain in 2018 were for safety testing human medicines.

On the other hand, animals have equal rights as humans to live on this planet. To be more precise, animals undergo cruelty and face death while testing for the outcome of successful medications. For instance, a laboratory mouse would be injected with a particular infection to test for the alternatives to cure. Consequently, this process could be detrimental to the health of the experimental subject. This clearly presents evidence against lab animals.

In conclusion, although laboratory species suffer extreme pain and inhumanity, in my perspective, experiments on animals are crucial for the invention of alternatives to overcome diseases and for effective results on the reaction caused by such medications to ensure it is safe to use on humans.
