Due to rapid advancement in the technology sector, people are inculcating the habit of using mobile phones in their daily life be it for personal or official reasons. In fact, it acts as an external body part of human beings. Let us discuss in detail the advantages and disadvantages of the extensive use of cell phones in upcoming paragraphs.
On one hand, phones are meant to ease the lives of people as it is quite handy and it acts as a mini-computer in the palm of our hand. Apart from this, we can connect with our long-distant relatives with almost nil cost and ample convenience. For example, if people are living in different countries then they can interact by making calls over Facebook, WhatsApp, etc. They don’t have to visit any shop for making calls like people used to do in the past times.
On the contrary, there are harmful rays that are emitted from the usage of phones that are perilous for the human body. Various studies have shown that people are suffering from brain problems who are addicted to the usage of phones. Moreover, it is being used excessively that people don’t respect their surroundings and relationships. For instance, memes are popular on social media these days wherein family members are sitting in a room but nobody is interacting with each other rather they are using their mobile devices.
Overall, phones play a vital role in human life because people can do their personal and business work anywhere and at any time. However, excess of everything is bad as people are becoming slaves of technology which is not at all good in the long run.
