Being a Punjabi, I am fond of Punjabi music. Almost half of my playlist is filled with Punjabi songs sung by different singers. My favorite of all is Diljit Dosanjh. He is a singer, an actor, and a judge of a singing show who started his career as a dancer and moved onto acting in the Punjabi entertainment industry.

Now he has become a big face in the Bollywood industry as an actor as well as a singer. The last time I saw him on TV, he was judging a singing reality show. He has a huge fan following especially a female fan following.

I remember the first time I heard his song “ do you know”, I was traveling home after college on a local bus and this song started playing. I liked the song so much that the first thing I did after reaching home was downloading this song. After that, I watched a few of his movies all of which were based on the rom-com genre. 

I also dug upon his background and I came to know he has struggled a lot in life to reach the position he is right now. I could really relate to his life story and I realized that no pain means no gain. That is why I want to meet him personally and thank him for such a glorious life journey.
