Well, I am fond of traveling and I always try to explore new places in my country. Many times in my childhood I was left behind due to the negligence of my kith and kin but today I would like to share an incident that happened with me 3 years ago. It was the time when I went to New Delhi for the first time with my bosom friend Anmol during the internship program.
When we landed in Delhi, Anmol’s brother came for us and we settled down in his apartment. On the very first day, we went to Noida which is a very bustling place and far from New Delhi and it took around 2.5 hours to reach there via Metro.
After reaching that place, we had to go to Hindustan Coca Cola Pvt. Ltd. that was 70 km ahead from Noida and we did not know even a single thing about that city. Somehow, we managed to get over there by local rickshaw and we did the documents verification for internship.
When we were planning to return to our home, unfortunately, there was no public vehicle because that company was sited at the outskirts. After waiting for 1 hour, luckily we got a lift by office staff to the main road.
Afterward, we booked an Uber but the scary thing was, my friend accidentally dropped the wrong address FOR PICKUP. We realized it after 1 hour of waiting. It was a frightening moment for us. Firstly we canceled the ride and waited for any other vehicle that was passing by.
During the waiting period, we felt that place was not good for us because there were people beside us who were stalking us and they were creeping us out. The moment changed atrocious when two of them started to come toward us but suddenly an Auto Rickshaw stopped in front of us and we jumped into it to escape from that place.
Finally, when we reached home and we narrated the whole incident to Anmol’s brother, he scolded us for not telling him earlier. Moreover, we felt embarrassed at that time. Now whenever we reminisce that incident, we have a hearty laugh.
