The depicted bar chart represents the proportion of regular physical activity of males and females among six age groups in Australia in 2010. Overall, women were more physically active than men.
As can be seen clearly, there was an upward trend in the percentage of women who took more strenuous work. From 15 to 24 years old, males appeared to do more physical activity than females, with 52.8% and 47.7% respectively. However, in all other age groups, women stood at a higher point than men.
Regarding the second age group, the proportion of women reached 48.9%, whereas their male counterparts had about 42.2% of regular physical activity. Simultaneously, the dominance of women was obvious in all other age categories, from 35 to 44, 45 to 54, and 55 to 64 years old, where they had about 11.5%, 10.2%, and 7,9% difference from men accordingly. Finally, there was a tiny fraction of difference of 0.4% between Australian men and women of 65 years old and over, who worked out regularly with women having a higher standing at 47.1%
